"Totoo ba ang forever?"
This is a question that most of the youth and singles ask nowadays.
Some people say that it isn't real, some people say it is real in a worldly context, but I say it is real in God. "Eh ate, we're asking in the context of love relationships hindi sa spiritual context." Actually, I'm still speaking in the context of love relationships. For you to get what I mean, we need to go back to the attributes of God.
God is infinite and eternal.
Why do I say that God is infinite and eternal? Because He is immeasurable. The word 'perfect' is just a the highest possible description that our finite minds can use to describe God. If God isn't infinite and eternal, then that means that He's measurable. If He's measurable then that means He's not 'perfect'. And if He's not perfect then He isn't God.
Another word for infinite and eternal is 'forever'. Yes, there is forever in God.
We entered into a love relationship with God the moment you believed in Jesus' death and resurrection and accepted that you are a sinner and you need saving. And this love relationship that we have with God will last forever. Why can I say so? Because when we die, we will be with Him in Heaven forever. Even a Christ-centered marriage won't last forever because death will part them away. But our lover, our Father, our God is stronger than death and we shall be with Him forever.
Therefore, totoo ba ang forever? Oo naman, basta kay God may forever! (Is forever real? Of course, in God there is such a thing as forever!)
